This opportunity specifically seeks volunteers to assist in various veggie greenhouse functions across multiple dates related to the MGP/URI/Public plant sales. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for multiple shifts. On Monday 4/28, MG sale in Hempe occurs from 3pm-4:30pm, and URI sale in Hempe occurs from 4:30pm-6pm. On Tuesday 4/29, MG sale occurs from 10am-11:30am, and URI sale in Hempe occurs from 11:30am-1pm. The plant sale at URI runs from 9am-12pm.
When responding to a shift, please write the text noted next to the shift below in brackets ("[ ]") into the "Response Notes" field of your response.
Note that certain shifts, where noted below, are only open to former and current veggie greenhouse volunteers. *Volunteers who sign up for veggie greenhouse-specific shifts without veggie greenhouse prior hours will be removed from those shifts.*
Receipt writers (10-15 people per date):

Greenhouse workers during MGP/URI Sales at the veggie greenhouse (space plants, move misplaced plants back to their locations, remove empty trays, assist customers, etc). These shifts are only open to former and current veggie greenhouse volunteers (4 people per date):

Campus Set-up of Veggie tents, tables, signage (2-3 people)

Volunteers to load plants into vehicles at veggie greenhouse (Hempe) for delivery to URI campus (15 people):
- Friday, 5/2, 8:30am-12pm at East Farm (volunteers will need campus parking passes, URI to provide) [Vehicle Plant Loading Hempe 5/2]
Volunteers to drive plants to URI campus from veggie greenhouse. Please specify what type of vehicle you have when responding to this shift; vehicles will need to be empty for loading, and owners may want to cover interior with waterproof material. Big SUVs and trucks will be loaded first (15-17 people):

Volunteers to work the veggie tents and help customers on campus during the plant sale (this shift is only open to veggie greenhouse volunteers- 8 people, two per tent):

Post-sale loading of leftover plants, signage, supplies, etc, at URI into vehicles and delivery/unloading back into veggie greenhouse on East Farm (4-6 people, 1-2 vehicles):
